# $VALENTINE Token Utility

**The $VALENTINE token is the ValentineYield ecosystem's utility token, dictating the course of two major products:** 

1\) Pre-diabetes 

2\) Post-diabetes. 

**After the Presale, $VALENTINE may be locked for LPValentine, which will perform the following functions:** 

1\) Governance 

2\) Protocol revenue distribution (50% of fees) 

3\) Emissions Direction 

4\) Valentine Farms (Upto 5106% APR)

5\) LPValentine

At launch, $VALENTINE will be given to vault depositors as an incentive, but it will be non-transferable until Bond initiation and the distribution of LPValentine. Transferability is expected to be available in early December. Furthermore, $VALENTINE is the governance token that will be used to establish crucial Valentine ecosystem characteristics.
